MCAT 45 was started because we were frustrated with the MCAT preparation services out there. You know... the services from Kaplan and Princeton review. We felt they were overpriced and didn't offer as much value as they promised.

We think a better approach is to develop a community around helping each other ace the MCAT. We believe this is a far better way to getting your personal questions resolved. In addition, we want pursue free training that is continually being updated by the community. The result of this approach will produce a higher quality MCAT preparation that keeps up with the latest developments.

MCAT 45 was founded by two students who realized there had to be a better way to prepare students for the MCAT.

Aroon Krishna - Lead Instructor

He's the lead instructor for one good reason. He knows how to ace the MCAT. He only got a 43 on the MCAT so he doesn't quite live up to the perfection we strive on this site, but that's ok. We'll give him a break this time. He's had experience with the big preparation companies in terms of being a student and tutor, and he thinks they are overpriced for what they offer. Fortunately, he's sharing his knowledge with you guys.

Carl Zetterlund - Evangelist and Developer

He is a big on making learning easier, more fun, and cheaper. He is currently creating web applications that will hopefully make the world a better place.
