Molecular Biology Section Finished!
I'd like to happily report that the Molecular Biology section is now complete! That means we've got 4 full sections finished in our free MCAT prep guide. Be sure to check it out and let us know if you have any feedback. I opened up comments under each section so you can easily leave it there.
We just opened up a few days ago and should have the rest of the MCAT guide finished in a few weeks. Keep checking and stay posted.
I just wanted to say thanks for everyone who has been active in the forums. I really appreciate your help in building this community.
Daily Updates for our MCAT Prep
I just wanted to announce that we are putting at least a page a day for our free MCAT Prep section. We hope to be completely finished with our first final draft in 3 weeks. Currently, we have fully completed the following section:
- Cell Biology
- Metabolism
- Organic Chemistry Part 1
We are currently working on the Molecular Biology section so that should be finished soon. The rest of the sections will start popping up.
Keep in mind that this isn't a final draft for us. We wanted to put something good out there so you guys can help us make it better. Under each section, there is a place where you can post your own comments about each section. Tell us anything you'd like. What's confusing... What's good... any typos... etc
We hope you find it useful. We are working hard to make it the best MCAT prep guide out there!

The MCAT
I am sure all of you guys are busy studying for the MCAT. I just want to write a quick update on forthcoming exam dates. Until recently the MCAT was offered only in April and August (two test days a year), now with the power of computers the new computerized MCAT is offered 7 months for the year 2008.
The next MCAT test date is in January. They are offered on January 25 and January 26. These exams will be administered in the morning. If January does not offer you enough time to prepare the next time the MCAT is offered is in April.
They are offered on:
April 5
April 18
April 19 (evening administer)
You can register for the 2008 MCAT test days starting on Tuesday, October 30. I would highly advise you do this as soon as possible so you can get a test center which is close to your home or school. The last thing you want to do is have to worry about traveling 30+ miles to an MCAT test center on the day of the exam.
You can register for the January MCAT: 25th and 26th by clicking on the link below (Starting Oct. 30)

Grand Opening of MCAT 45
We are excited to finally open the doors to MCAT 45. We've put a ton of hours into making this site into a platform that will soon host a vibrant community centered around the MCAT exam.
One of the biggest things we have been working on is a MCAT preparation guide. Not only do we believe it is better than the competition, it is absolutely free! We've spent countless hours putting this together headed by our lead MCAT instructor, Aroon. We currently have 3 full main sections completed as well as more sections coming everyday. We should have a comprehensive MCAT prep guide by 2 to 3 weeks. Please us your comments under each section if you are confused or have any questions. It is a work in progress and it will only get better with help from members like you.
We also are offering a great way to communicate with other members. We call it a forum! (original huh?) Just head over there and you can get FREE help from our instructors and other members.
If you're looking for personalized and quick help, be sure to check out tutoring service. It is only $35 an hour and completely web based using an interactive chat and whiteboard. Currently, all tutoring sessions are lead by our lead instructor, Aroon. (let's just say he got a 43)
Finally, we have the blog. We will keep you posted on the latest developments surrounding the MCAT 45 community as well as the MCAT test. Be sure to subscribe by RSS and check back often!
Thanks for visiting. Be sure to register and get involved even if you've already taken the exam!
